ANOTHER YEAR to get in touch with the things about me I want to change or the activities I want to do.  Many make New Year resolutions but I do not, they remind me of living under the law, if I make them and don’t or can’t keep them, then I feel guilty.  So I never make them.  The desire of my heart is to be continually filled and full of the Holy Spirit of God.  But, I don’t always feel that way.  Do I hear an Amen?

Reminded of the following scripture, once again, it is time to come to grips with the absolute glory of God, who He is and why I exist.  Continually praising Him for His grace, mercy and love.  Knowing my sin and guilt are forever forgiven and I do not live under the law.

Acts 17:24-31

24 The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, 25 nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. 26 And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, 27 that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, 28 for “‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some ofyour own poets have said, “‘For we are indeed his offspring.’

29 Being then God's offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man. 30 The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, 31 because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead.”

My desire is to live, breathe and be His being.  New Year’s resolution, you could see it that way, but I choose to see it as a way of life!  As a Christian my desire is to live this life full of His glory through praise, prayer and worship, feelings don’t dictate who I am, He does!

Please share with us how you live, breathe and are His!  Your words will encourage us all.

God Bless you and Happy New Year in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.</span>
