Share your stories and ideas with the network as you respond to crisis and disaster.

Japan One Year LaterSunday not only marks Daylight Savings but it is also the one year anniversary of the most recent Earthquake/Tsunami to ravage Japan. That event caused the deaths of over 19,000 people with many thousands still unaccounted for. Now, a year later, hope is beginning to shine in that nation as people, businesses and communities are recovering and being rebuilt.

Here are links to a few updates that we have received:

Being prepared is the first step to a successful recovery. It is important to remember that who you are prior to finding yourself in a crisis is who you will be during a crisis. Take a few minutes and download our free ReadyChristian Training and take steps to prepare yourself, your family and your community to be resilient in times of crisis.

CEN also wishes to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of our partners who are on the ground responding and helping Japan recover from this disaster, and who also are responding to countless disasters and recovery efforts around the globe. Recovery is often the best opportunity for the Christian community to be the most effective in helping and sharing the hope of Christ within to bring hope in times of crisis and devastation.
