Blog

Share your stories and ideas with the network as you respond to crisis and disaster.

Sometimes it is hard to know where to start when you want to start blogging. If you are new to the site, you may wonder what a response group is and how to start one.

Well, I'm glad you asked!

Blogging

What is Blogging?

Essentially blogging is online journaling...it doesn't require the same "standard" as more formal writing outlets. Blogs are a place where you can share your knowledge, create interest for the topic of the blog and, ideally, gather a group of followers to promote your product, ideas or person.

Response Group

What is a Response Group?

A Response Group, as defined on our CEN site, is a virtual meeting space where you can share information, prayer requests, and other communication surrounding a specific incident. You can also share pictures, videos and links to external sources with your response group. The group can be public and available to everyone on the CEN site or set to private and invitation only. We encourage Church and City Emergency Teams to create one for their groups so they are ready to respond in times of crisis.
