A national heat wave coupled with dry drought conditions in many western states are fueling severe forest fires in numerous locations within Colorado, New Mexico, California, Montana, Wyoming and more.  Floods are occurring in some southeast states with the tropical storm season. 

Pray for:

• Protection and favor of God for the front line rescue responders battling fires and weather to protect life first and property.  For accurate and timely news reports and protection of their crews, evacuation effort personnel, police support and pilots bringing in air support to retard fires.
• Comfort citizens displaced from their homes and those with lost property and belonging.
• Mercy for our nation in great need against these physical forces.  Seek God for His power to bring blessing of soaking rains to drought areas, reduce winds. Calm the storms threatening coastal areas. 
• Citizens not directly affected to offer compassion and assistance in their communities
• For Christians to generously support those in need and share the hope we have in Jesus Christ in all ways possible:   Romans 15: 13 “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
