    Sheriff Deputy Bill Coleman Shot and killed that has affected Anthem's 1st responders emotionally and mentally.  
    Incident has affected Anthem Community emotionally, spiritually and mentally.  
    Incident has affected immediate family of Deputy Bill Coleman

Response: Saluting Anthem's First Responders Day of Honor Event

Current Status:
Steve Wyatt and 4 other pastors are confirmed for the January 29th Event
MSCSO has it on it's calendar
ACC Public Safety Committee has it on it's calendar
The Coleman Family had been informed of the event

To do:



  • We need all anthem and surrounding residents to go to their church pastors and brief them on this event. Steve Wyatt (The Crossroads Church) will speak to any pastor wanting to be apart of this event.

  • Once the church is confirmed in their participation - Mike Marshall will be the logistical point person between churches for coordination in-kind donations or services.

The Response: Saluting Anthem's First Emergency Responders (S.A.F.E.R.)

Event Time: Sunday, January 29 at 12:30pm | Place: Anthem Community Park

Current Status:

  • Steve Wyatt and 4 other pastors have confirmed the January 29th Event
  • ReadyCrossroads Emergency Leadership Team has been activated to respond
  • Anthem churches contacted and participating in the event: Fellowship Church, St. Rose, The Crossroads, Arizona Desert Hills, Cross of Christ
  • MSCSO PIO has it on it's calendar
  • ACC Public Safety Committee has it on it's calendar
  • Anthem Community Park is secured with ACC
  • The Coleman Family had been informed of the event and will likely attend
  • Networking of efforts as it relates to Mt View Bible Church's Public Safety Event (this was a pre-planned event prior to the Anthem Shooting)
  • Video has been produced and recorded by 3 Anthem Pastors to be used in churches this week that describes the current church response status and the event

Planning:
