Glow Sticks During A Power Outage

When the power goes out we use candles, oil lamps or flashlights. All have some limited life. When we go to bed we turn these off.

If we need to go to the bathroom, or move around the house we can easily trip in the dark. With power out in a neighborhood you navigate only by moon, or starlight.

Use glow sticks to mark key places in your home, stairways, doorways, doorknobs or any place that could cause a stumble.

Most glow sticks will have a life of around 8 hours, enough to get you through most nights.

Add a few to your emergency supplies, they may keep you, or others from stumbling.
