websiteˍpreview CEN’s ministry and website, created after September 11, 2001, to provide a Christian message to the public at the time of national-interest disasters and crisis events, has now expanded its website.

“We are largely a web-based communication ministry, rallying Christians to “Be Aware” of potential crises, “Be Ready” for them, and then “Be There” with involvements of   prayer, services of care, and words to share the Good News and comfort of Jesus Christ to those affected,” says Founder and Chairman Mary Marr.

“In the almost 6 years of ministry, we are seeing individuals, families, churches and ministries taking our rallying call seriously,” Marr continues.

“Individuals and groups are equipping themselves with supplies, emergency plans, and evangelism attitudes and tools “at the ready” to kick into gear for small or large-scale, local or national crisis events,” states Marr.   “Emergencies often provide the open door needed to reach a lost soul for Christ, and we must be on the lookout for those opportunities.   Churches and Christians are usually the first to be contacted by those in crisis.”

The revised CEN website gives viewers clear entry points for the news and information needed to prepare for and respond to disasters.   Separate instructions and resources are now available to churches; the media section has been expanded to include more information; the donation site has been updated; more downloadable and free resources are available; ministries hoping to begin new initiatives with CEN can also begin the process there; and more.

Ministries are free to include CEN’s web address as a resource on their print materials.
