During an emergency starting fire may be important. You are able to obtain heat, smoke for rescuers to see, the ability to heat water and do simple cooking and to keep animals away.

Most Americans own a cell phone, with 1/3 being the newer Smart Phones. During an emergency, you may not have light available. As a backup, you can download a fee app from many sources. I got mine here: http://bit.ly/bYLxo9

 

This week a school bus in Charlotte North Carolina caught fire, with six children and a driver on board.  Within a few moments, the entire bus was engulfed in flames.  Driver Lindora Richardson as credited with saving the children’s lives.

No Cash- No Gas

Today I pulled into a gas station to fill up. The credit card system was down and the station was able to accept cash only.

 

I was amazed at the number of customers that didn’t have cash. Some just bought a few dollars worth, one guy cleaned out the change in his truck to get gas to get to the next station.
