Ministry 9-1-1's Call of the day...

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (II Timothy 2:15) -- "The Dark Ages are still not over for many as they are still deceived by those that wrest the Scripture from its true meaning to build their religious systems.  Others who thought they had escaped that darkness through the Reformation are no better because they have only substituted one religious system built on traditions for a newer form of the same thing.  Are you rightly dividing the Word of God?" (Evangelist Gordon Phillips)

"But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death" (James 1:14-15)

Sin promises us so many things, but always fails to fulfill those promises.  “Gamble and you will be rich,” but instead people are poorer even though they have some winnings.  “Lie and your problems will go away,” but instead people only make matters worse.  “Give in to your lusts and you will be satisfied,” but instead people find emptiness in the liquor bottle or destruction from illicit relationships.  Know this–that sin never has nor ever will keep any of its promises!  --Evangelist Gordon Phillips

Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. --I Corinthians 4:2

A salvation decision isn’t the end goal for a believer. God has a specific plan and purpose for each of His children. Sometimes it’s a lifelong calling in an area of service, but it could also be a specific task He has for you at particular time in your life. The only way you’ll fulfill God’s purposes is by setting goals that align with His will and taking specific steps to achieve them. --Dr. Charles Stanley

Wake up, America. Our neglect and denigration of God, His word, and Christianity has put us on a path which plays directly into Satan’s hands. Is that really what we want for our children and grandchildren? Instead, wouldn’t you prefer that they could say with David:  "Some boast in chariots and some in horses, but we will boast in the name of the Lord, our God.  They have bowed down and fallen, but we have risen and stood upright."  (Psalm 20:7-8 NASB) --Chaplain Grant Wolf

"But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him." (I Corinthians 12:18) -- 'The relevant question is, "What kind of smart are you?" You cannot be a good steward of what you have until you know what it is! How can you steward a gift you either do not have or of which you are unaware?...It certainly is true that there is nothing better than doing what God made you to do!...A good steward is one who is fully aware of three truths:  1] Your strengths come with weaknesses; 2] Your strengths come with time; 3] Your strengths come with responsibility.' "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." (Proverbs 27:17) -- "...In a good church, you will find the kind of friends that will be there for you as you navigate the blessings and difficulties of life; someone to stand beside you in good times and bad, during both your triumphs and your trials—people who will tell you the things you need to hear, not just the things you might want to hear.  A real friend isn’t just a companion but someone who helps us become a better person. That is the kind of friend Jesus Christ wants to be for us, and the kind of friend He intends for us to be to one another." (Pastor Troy Dorrell)
